Enrollment for Fall 2007 |
|
It is that time again!! Reenrollment will take place this month. Again this year, we would like to make reenrollment as easy as possible. On January 10th, we will distribute enrollment surveys along with pricing and programming for the 2007-2008 school year to currently enrolled families. This survey should be returned to our office on or before January 19th. If possible we will use this survey to place current students in classes, rather than having parents come up to enroll in person. We will only do first-come-first-served basis if necessary due to interest. If certain classes/days do not fill, we may eliminate that class/day. We may also include additional classes/days if interest is high. If necessary (due to high interest) we will hold registration for returning students on January 29th. Registration for church members will begin on February 2nd and will be open to the public on February 7th. To view the 2007-2008 programs, tuition and fees, click here. We look forward to another year with your families. Please let us know if you have any questions. |

How can I help my child learn to read?
· Read books to your child for at least 20 minutes everyday; look at the words and illustrations and discuss the story after you read it. · Re-read the books your child requests; ask your child to “read” the story to you. · Talk with your child a lot! · Tell family stories. · Check out books from the library with your child’s own library card. · Buy books for you and your child and buy books as gifts for others. · Sing songs regularly. · Repeat rhymes. · Set up a cozy nook or cranny as a reading area in your home. · Keep books in the car for “waiting” times. · Include your child in meaningful correspondence (letters, postcards, thank you notes). · Take part in purposeful reading (instructions, recipes, directions). · Keep a variety of reading materials available (newspapers, magazines, etc.). · Model the love of reading by reading for pleasure.
The best thing parents can do is form positive attitudes about reading so that their child will want to learn to read! |
