At all times, the Weekday Program welcomes the involvement of parents. Early education is successfully achieved through partnering between parents and school. The program works diligently to accomplish this partnership by providing parents with as much communication as possible and by listening to parents. The Parent Teacher Connection's (PTC) mission is to provide support to our children, their teachers and each other through fellowship, participation and prayer. The Weekday Program PTC is about men and women working together toward a common goal. That goal is creating a better school and a better social and educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work.
The PTC sponsors fun filled events such as Pumpkin Carnival, Spaghetti with Santa and the End of Year Jam. We will also continue our fundraising efforts through a silent auction, pansy and begonia sales and family dinner nights. Funds raised by the PTC are used to support the Weekday Program's scholarship and playground fund and to support the PTC's events.
All parents become members of the PTC as soon as the school year begins. The PTC invites parents to become active participants in your children's experience at the Weekday Program by being involved with the PTC. The level of involvement is up to you. You can be a member in name only or you can become an active member. The PTC's theme is "Endless Possibilities." Working together, we as parents and teachers truly have endless possibilities in what we can do to make the Weekday Program the best possible experience for our children.
