Weekday Program Summer Camp

The Weekday Program Summer 2011 Sessions 1, 2 & 3 are offered Tuesday, June 7th-Friday, August 19th for 2-month olds through 5-year olds. Children will be enrolled from 9:00am-2:00pm and can add morning and/or afternoon extended day, if needed, for Sessions 1, 2 & 3.

Preschool Summer Sessions

Session 1: Tuesday, June 7-Friday, July 1 (school year rates apply)

Session 2: Tuesday, July 5-Friday, July 29 (closed July 4) (school year rates apply)

Session 3: Monday, August 1-Friday, August 19 (pro-rated for 3 weeks)

Enrollment begins March 10th.

Little Friends’ Place Summer Camps

This summer the Weekday Program is offering 2 camps with a limited number of spaces.

May Camp: Tuesday, May 31-Monday, June 6

August Camp: August 22, 23 & 24 (closed August 25 & 26 for in-service) August 29, 30 & 31

During the summer, children will continue to work on age-appropriate activities based on their developmental level and interests. Daily activities will include reading, art, exploration, music, outdoor (or gym) play and lots of fun!

Preschool children will be placed in classes with other children close to their age. We cannot guarantee that children will have the same teacher during the summer that they had (or will have) during the school year. While we strive to maintain as much consistency as possible, many of our staff members take vacation time during the summer and our space is limited

My Friends’ Place Summer Breakaway/Kindergarten Camp

Children entering 1st-7th grade, who need full- or part-time care may sign up by the week for My Friends’ Place Summer Breakaway from Tuesday, June 7th-Friday, August 19th. Activities will include weekly field trips, art, science, indoor and outdoor play, cooking, reading, and lots of fun!!!

My Friends’ Place/Kindergarten Camp is open from 7:00am-6:30pm each day. The supply fee for the summer is $50. Weekly tuition is $185. Children may enroll on a daily basis for $50/day. My Friends’ Place/Kindergarten Camp is closed Monday, July 5th.

New this year: Kindergarten Camp is for children going into Kindergarten and who will be enrolled in My Friends’ Place Summer Breakaway. The Kindergarteners will participate in on-site My Friends’ Place activities. This group will begin going on some field trips mid to late summer. On days they do not go on My Friends’ Place field trips, there will be special enrichment activities or on-site field trips planned. This will ease your child into our elementary age program and the responsibility and autonomy required to go on field trips later in the summer. To sign up for this camp, mark the dates your child will be attending on the My Friends’ Summer Breakaway enrollment form. Kindergarten Camp begins May 31st.

Limited space is available for all programs. Children will be enrolled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Pricing for Weekday Program Summer 2011

Pricing for Weekday Program Summer Sessions 1 and 2 is based on school-year pricing. Session 3 is based on 75% of school-year pricing.

A non-refundable Supply Fee of $50 is due at registration.
