Tracye Alexander Ms. Tracye is from Irving. She is married to her husband Tim and has three fantastic children, twin girls Kayce and Kylie, and her son, Bryce. She is currently attending classes at Collin College. Ms. Tracye has spent several years working in the child care profession. She had her own in home daycare and, prior to that, she was a Pre-K assistant. The part of working with kids that draws her in is the fact that she loves children. Every time she sees that a child has learned something new, and knows that she has been an integral part in that, it gives her a feeling that she just can't explain. Pink, Red, Black and White are her favorite colors and she loves to shop at Target. |

Amber Karnuth My name is Amber Karnuth, and I have recently earned my B.A. in Psychology at University of Texas at Dallas. During my undergraduate work, I worked with the UTD Think Lab, a research group studying the cognitive abilities in children. My favorite undergraduate classes were Educational Psychology, Normal Language Development, and Child Development. Through these courses I discovered my passion for teaching young children. I consider myself blessed to be in such an influential field of work, and I look forward to the work that I do every single day. This is my second year teaching pre-kindergarten, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Weekday Program. My favorite part of teaching is figuring out how each child learns best and appreciating each precious milestone. Additionally, I have taught gymnastics and tumbling to children eighteen months through eighteen years for eight years. I have served as the director of Pre-school aged activities at Express Cheer and Dance and Director of Gymnastics at a gymnastics facility in Plano. I still take dance classes weekly, and am glad to share my knowledge through the Dallas School of Movement, teaching ballet, tumbling and cheerleading to after schoolers. My favorite places to shop are the container store and IKEA. My favorite foods are Greek & anything seafood.
